Shipping Address

Please note the following when choosing your delivery address:

  • We can’t deliver to P.O Boxes, Private Bags, Great Barrier Island, or Chatham Island
  • Roof Box & Rooftop Tent – Only shipped to Commercial Addresses or Local Depot (Waiheke Island excluded)
  • Battery Shipping – Only shipped to Commercial Addresses or Mainfreight Depot (Waiheke Island excluded)

Shipping Times

  • Items showing “In stock at Garage Geek, ships today” – Orders placed before 3pm will normally leave the same day
    *Larger items may take an additional day to be picked up by the carrier
  • Items showing “In stock at Distribution Centre – Ships in 1–2 working days” –
    These come from a third-party warehouse and will be dispatched within 2 business days
  • Orders placed outside business hours (public holidays or weekends) will be shipped on the next business day
  • Bank deposit orders will be shipped after funds clear – this may take up to 2 working days
  • Pickups welcome during business hours:
    Mon–Fri: 8am–5pm | Sat: 9am–1pm
    Payments also accepted in-store

30 Day Returns Policy

At Garage Geek, your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, you can return it within the time frames below, provided it is in new and unused condition. We’ll gladly exchange your product and cover shipping on the replacement.

Return Windows

  • Full-Price Items – Return within 30 days of purchase
  • Sale Items – No refunds unless the goods are faulty

How to Return Your Items

1. Complete the Return Form
Fill out the Exchanges & Returns form

2. Pack Your Items
Securely pack all items with your invoice inside a sturdy box or the original packaging
If returning boxed items, enclose them in a satchel — damaged returns won’t be accepted

3. Label the Package

4. Ship the Package
Use your local Post Office. We recommend insured registered post
Garage Geek is not responsible for lost return parcels

Once received, your return will be reviewed and processed within 48 hours for a prompt exchange or refund.

Note: Return shipping to us is your responsibility. We cover the cost of shipping the replacement.

Faulty Returns & Repairs

If your item is faulty and needs repair:
  • Follow the same return steps above
  • Once received, we’ll inspect the item and forward it to the manufacturer
  • They’ll either repair the item or issue a refund
  • We aim to process within 2 working days, though some cases may require longer for manufacturer approval
  • You’ll be kept updated throughout the process
  • If found faulty, we will reimburse your return postage
Please allow approximately two weeks for full processing of faulty returns.

  • Returns are processed Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm
  • Returns are inspected and processed within 48 hours of receipt
  • COD deliveries not accepted
  • Do not attach anything to original packaging
  • Returns in unsatisfactory condition may be denied
  • A restocking fee may apply
  • Freight fees on incorrectly ordered items are non-refundable
